Who is responsible for your information

Axocare Health is currently operated by Marianna Anastasakou. Marianna Anastasakou is the data controller for personal information submitted through this website.

Location: Athens, Greece
Privacy contact: manastasakou@axocare.health

What this notice covers

The public Axocare Health website, and specifically the enquiry form. It does not cover the Axocare application, which is not publicly available and is governed separately.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your full name, organisation, role or title, work email address, organisation type, area of interest and your message. We need these to identify who is enquiring, to route the enquiry and to reply to you.

We do not request or intend to collect telephone numbers, postal addresses, dates of birth, patient-identifiable information, health information or other special-category data through this form.

This website uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

To receive, read, assess and respond to business, clinical, research, investment and partnership enquiries.

Our legal basis is legitimate interests, under Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation. Our interest is in receiving and answering professional enquiries about the platform and possible collaborations. We have assessed that this limited processing does not override the rights and freedoms of individuals submitting professional enquiries.

We do not use this information for marketing, and we do not send newsletters.

Health and patient information

We do not request or intend to collect patient-identifiable, clinical, health or other special-category data through this form. Please do not provide such information. If it is submitted despite this instruction, we will take steps to delete it promptly and will not use it to respond to the enquiry.

Who else is involved

Vercel hosts this website and runs the form endpoint. Your submission passes through it in memory and is not stored there. Google, through Google Workspace, transmits the enquiry email and stores it in our mailbox.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Axocare Health operates from Athens, Greece. The providers described above operate international infrastructure, and personal information submitted through this form may be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.

Where such transfers take place, they are carried out under the data processing terms we have entered into with each provider. Those terms incorporate the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission for transfers of personal data to third countries, which are the safeguard relied upon for these transfers.

You may request further information about these arrangements using the privacy contact above.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence that does not lead to an active business, clinical, research or contractual relationship will ordinarily be retained for up to 12 months from the last substantive contact, and then deleted. Where an enquiry develops into an active relationship, relevant correspondence may be retained under the applicable business, contractual or legal retention requirements.

How we protect it

The website is served over HTTPS. Submissions are validated on our server, are not written to any database, and are not recorded in logs together with their contents. Access to the receiving mailbox is restricted to the controller and protected through the security controls configured for the account.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in data protection law, you may ask us to give you access to the personal data we hold about you, correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete, erase your information, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it, since we rely on legitimate interests.

Data portability applies only where its legal conditions are met, which will not usually be the case for processing based on legitimate interests.

Because we rely on legitimate interests rather than consent, there is no consent for you to withdraw. If you object, we will stop unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.

To make a request, write to manastasakou@axocare.health.

We will respond without undue delay and normally within one month of receiving your request. Where permitted by law, this period may be extended by up to two further months because of the complexity or number of requests. If an extension is required, we will inform you within the first month and explain the reason.

Where we have reasonable doubts about the identity of the person making a request, we may ask for only the additional information reasonably necessary to confirm their identity.

Complaints

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, www.dpa.gr. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our processing changes, and will revise the date at the top.
